Four campsites in Croatia have been included among the 20 Best Campites in Europe, according to French camping magazine Le monde du plein aira…
Lanterna in Poreč, Poljana Kvarner camping in Mali Lošinj, Šimuni on the island of Pag and Zaton Holiday Camping Resort in Nin were all included on the list of the Top 20 Campsites in Europe according to Le monde du plein aira.

“This is the first year the Croatia has 4 campsites awarded and shares first place with Italy. 20% of the awarding campsites were in Croatia. Le monde du plein aira is the number one campsite magazine in France and celebrates 40 years this year. The special edition ‘Best European Campsites’ will be handed out free at all campsite fairs in France”, Jerko Sladoljev from Camping Croatia told Glas Istre.
Lanterna campsite
In the list of 20 European Campsites there were four campsites also from Italy, three from Spain and Austria, two from Germany and one each in Portugal, Sweden, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
