There are 8,348,000 cards in circulation in Croatia, with 4.1 million of those not making one single transaction. Despite a rise in the number of credit and debit cards in circulation, around 100,000 more personal cards and 24,000 company cards, daily Slobodna Dalmacija writes that spending via cards is at a lower level than usual.
