0 new Covid cases again in Croatia on Saturday, active cases down to 22

ZAGREB, 6 JUNE, 2020 – There have been zero new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Saturday.
Today is the 103rd day since coronavirus arrived in Croatia and with just five new cases in over two weeks and one case so far in June, the total number of cases now stands at 2,247.
There was one new COVID-19-related fatality reported in the last 24 hours, a female patient born in 1944 with underlying conditions who was on a respirator in hospital in Zagreb.
The current death toll stands at 104.
There have been 2,121 recoveries to date, 8 more than yesterday. Currently, there are 22 active cases in Croatia with 10 people in hospital and 2 patients currently on a ventilator.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 68,514 tests, including 247 in the last 24 hours.
“Adhering to all the measures and instructions adopted so far is of key importance because, by behaving responsibly, we can reduce the spread of coronavirus infection. Everyone must be aware of the responsibility for their own health, the health of their family and fellow citizens,” the authority said in a press release.
