0 new Covid cases in Croatia again today, active cases drop to under 10

ZAGREB, 12 JUNE, 2020 – There have been no new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Friday.
Today is the 109th day since coronavirus arrived in Croatia and with no new cases, the total number of cases still stands at 2,249.
There was one new COVID-19-related fatality reported in the last 24 hours, a 71-year-old patient in Split hospital.
The current death toll now stands at 107.
There have been 2,133 recoveries to date. Currently, there are 9 active cases in Croatia with 6 people in hospital and 0 patients currently on a ventilator.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 69,721 tests, including 115 in the last 24 hours.
The Civil Protection Authority in Croatia also announced this week a decision regarding gatherings for sporting and cultural events.
From 15 June, fans and spectators will be able to attend sporting events. Epidemiological measures, recommended by the Croatian Institute of Public Health, will still need to be followed.
