Croatian wines have won 11 gold medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2024.

The results of this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards, the most prestigious wine competition held in London, have been announced.

Croatian winemakers have become accustomed to winning numerous medals, especially gold, at Decanter. Last year, Croatian wines picked up 25 gold medals.

11 Croatian wines won gold medals this year, with each gold-winning wine scoring 95 points.

Three wines, Galić’s Graševina, Casa Boschi’s Pošip, and Kolarek’s Graševina, also received the ‘Value’ designation, meaning they won a gold medal and retail for less than £14.99 (under €17),  Kult Plave Kamenice reports.

This year, the majority of medals awarded to Croatian wines were bronze, with 215 wines receiving this accolade, while 138 wines were awarded silver medals.
