12 Croatian Companies on Central Europe’s 500 Largest Companies List

12 Croatian companies have made their way onto this year’s Deloitte’s list of the 500 largest companies in Central Europe.
Croatian oil giants INA are the leading local company, ranked at number 28. Behind INA in 30th spot lies Agrokor, owners of the nation’s largest supermarket chain Konzum, followed by Croatia’s national power company Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP) in 101st place. In the banking sector, Zagrebačka banka managed once again to make it into the top 10 largest banks in Central Europe.
Deloitte’s have published the list now for the past seven years, after analysing key factors influencing individual industries in 18 countries in Central Europe. Apart from the top 500 largest firms list, Deloitte’s also publish a list of the 50 largest banks and 50 largest insurance companies in the region.
