The 13th edition of one of the Croatian capital’s favourite film festivals will be held this month.
ZagrebDox will take place from 26 February to 5 March 2017 at Kaptol Boutique Cinema in Zagreb.
Over the 8 festival days, ZagrebDox will present its audience with an overview of the most interesting recent documentary productions in international and regional competition, official and special programmes and several retrospectives accompanied by visits from some of the most significant documentary filmmakers today.
ZagrebDox this year continues to present Croatian directors with over twenty new documentaries, including Biljana Čakić, Goran Dević, Đuro Gavran, Rajko Grlić, Silvestar Kolbas, Kristijan Milić, Silvio Mirošničenko, Boris Poljak, Irena Škorić and Robert Zuber.
The official sections, always the audience’s favourites, include Biography Dox, Musical Globe, Happy Dox, Controversial Dox, Masters of Dox, State of Affairs and Teen Dox.
This year ZagrebDox will again feature ADU Dox, a selection of films made at the Academy of Dramatic Arts.
A special treat this year is the new section called Mothers and Daughters, including films focusing on the complex and always intriguing relationship between two generations of women in a family, such as Pawel Loznski’s You Have no Idea How Much I Love You, Clara Weiskopf Amazona and Three Conversations of Life by Julia Staniszewska.
