151 Years Since First Train Arrives in Zagreb

The Croatian Railway Museum on Tuesday celebrates the 151st anniversary of the arrival of the first train to Zagreb in Croatia on 1 October 1862 at the West Zagreb Station. To mark the ocassion the Museum has organised an ‘open day’. “Here you can see steam locomotives. For example, one of the most famous locomotives called the ‘Blue train‘, which was Josip Broz Tito’s presidential train. Also one can see the train which carried prisoners to the station in Danica, and also the old locomotive museum train, locomotive Ježić 22 077,” said the Museum director Tamara Štefanac. (pic: hkv.hr)
