18th Špancirfest Festival to be Held in August in Varaždin

Špancirfest in the city of Varaždin– the festival of good emotions – is ranked among the top 5 most important cultural events on the Croatian calendar…
This year the 18th Špancirfest festival will be held in Varaždin from 19-28 August 2016 and will once again feature over 1,000 well-known street performers, musicians, theatre performers, comedy acts and acrobats from all over the world. More than 40 concerts will take place this year, including by Manu Chao, who is one of the main guests this year, Jinx, TBF, Pavel, Neno Belan, Pips Chips and Videoclips and many more.

This year’s festival will be held under the slogan ‘Activate Your Creativity’ and will again bring in large crowds to the city, which is situated around 80 km north of the capital Zagreb.
Since Špancirfest festival first started 17 years ago, it has bought in over 2.7 million visitors and 9,000 performers to the city.
