2 British Tourists Take Taxi Back to London from Dubrovnik

A Croatian taxi driver in Dubrovnik has had a rather bizarre request from two British tourists, it has been revealed at the World Travel Market which is going on in London this week…

Two female tourists jumped in a cab in Dubrovnik and told the driver to take them to London. No, London is not the same of a bar or street in Dubrovnik, but London, England.

The story, reported by daily Vecernji list, was revealed at the World Travel Market fair which is currently going in London.

“When the taxi driver arrived home and told his wife to pack his things because he was off to drop two passengers to London, she at first did not believe him. The tourists had some unfortunate luck with their return flights back home to the UK and decided to ask the taxi driver to take them. The drive took 30 hours and cost the girls 2,000 British pounds and the taxi driver arrived back home safely,” Vecernji list reported the correspondent as saying.
