2021 World Men’s Handball Championship: Croatia’s path to the quarterfinals

20 January, 2021 – Yesterday’s victory over Qatar at the Borg El Arab Sports Hall in Alexandria, together with a win over Angola and a draw against Japan was enough for Croatia win their group at the 2021 World Men’s Handball Championship and advance through to the main round.
Croatia finished Group C top with 5 points, one ahead of Qatar on 4 points and will carry 3 points over to the main round.
Their opponents in Group II and schedule has now been confirmed.
First up on Thursday (21.01) is Bahrain at 6 p.m. (Croatian time). On Saturday (23.01) Croatia will face Argentina (6 p.m.) before meeting Denmark in the final match at 8:30 p.m on Monday (25.01).
Denmark have carried 4 points over from the group stages and are currently one point ahead of Croatia on the table.
