25,000 Chinese Tourists Set to Arrive as First China-Croatia Charters Take Off

The first charter flight between China and Croatia is set to take off in just over three weeks. The new route introduced for the first time this year is expected to bring in an estimated 25,000 Chinese tourists to the country this year…
The first flight between the southwest Chinese city of Chongquing and Zadar on the Dalmatian coast will take off on 1 May. The Hainan Airlines flights will operate once weekly for the next three years as part of a deal done earlier this year.
Chongquing has a population of around 30 million people and the charter flights opens up Croatia to a market which has yet to be tapped into.
