27-Year-Old American Girl Killed In Car Crash On Adriatic Coast

A 27-year-old American girl has died and two Italians are in hospital after the car they were travelling in near Jablanac on Croatia’s northern Adriatic coast has veered off the road on Thursday morning, reports daily Jutarnji list.

The car, an Italian registered Fiat Punto, fell more than 20 metres down a ditch whilst travelling along the D-8 Adriatic main road at Vlaka near Jablanac. The crash killed the female American passenger, whilst two Italian passengers were taken to Rijeka hospital will serious injuries.
