Those planning a holiday to Croatia in the upcoming weeks will be happy with the latest long-term weather forecast by one of the country’s top met men….
Croatian televisions leading meteorologist Zoran Vakula says that Croatians, and those visiting the country over the next few months, can expect some very hot weather over the next three months despite the average start to the summer.
“Despite some changeable and wet weather, this year so far has been extremely hot,” says Vakula, before providing some good news for holiday makers.
“Three or four months of extremely hot weather awaits us,” Vakula said.
It is not just Vakula who is predicting the above average temperatures, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in Reading, England also predicts that the temperatures in Croatia until October will be above average.
