The Global Impact Competitions (GIC) aim to find projects that can positively impact the lives of people living in the specific regions where they are run and are run by Singularity University – based at the NASA Research Park in the heart of Silicon Valley, California…
Singularity University’s mission is to educate, inspire and empower bright minds to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges.
Applicants are invited from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
Applicants should submit their projects aiming to improve the lives of at least one million people in Central Eastern Europe leveraging the power of accelerating technologies. The winner will receive a scholarship worth USD 30.000 to participate in the Graduate Studies Program (GSP) in Summer 2014. The scholarship covers all tuition and lodging costs (travel is not included).
