33 cafes across Croatia offering free coffee on World Coffee Day for a poem

ZAGREB, 30 September 2019 – Tuesday, 1 October is World Coffee Day and to mark the occasion, 33 coffee shops across Croatia will be offering free coffee in exchange for a poem.  

If drinking coffee is pure poetry for you, and you just like to write verses, then on 1 October, World Coffee Day, everyone is invited to visit one of 33 coffee shops or similar facilities offering Julius Meinl coffee throughout Croatia.

“Bring someone with you, write together beautiful, inspiring verses and exchange them for two coffees or teas for free. Meet With A Poem is a global campaign of the Julius Meinl company, with a goal to encourage people to exchange ideas and unleash their creativity. Julius Meinl will donate 4 kn to the Association Big Heart For Little Heart. Enjoy your cup of coffee, write a verse, participate with all your heart,” organisers said.
