4th “White Lion” Underwater Film Festival to Open in Rovinj

One of the more unique film festivals starts this week in Croatia’s north-western coastal town of Rovinj when the 4th Underwater Film Festival “White Lion”, opens on Thursday (26 September) in the Rovinj Multimedia Centre, and in the Hotel Istra, Captain’s Club bar, on the island of Sv. Andrew, also known as Red Island.
On Saturday 28 September visitors will be able to see the launch of an exhibition of underwater photography by Branislav Danevski, followed by a presentation of the 4 minute film Poseidon, a film focusing on scuba diving for people with disabilities which will be presented by the films author Robert Lehotkai. The festival will also feature the best children’s works in the exhibition titled “Underwater World”, including the screening of a film about a diving expedition to Cuba by a group with disabilities.
