55th Floraart show to take place at Zagreb’s Lake Bundek on 10-16 May

ZAGREB, 3 May (Hina) – The 55th international garden show Floraart will take place at Zagreb’s Lake Bundek on 10 to 16 May, featuring 180 exhibitors, the organisers announced on Monday.
Presenting this year’s programme at a press conference, Acting Mayor Jelena Pavičević Vukičević said that 125,000 plants will be planted, inviting citizens to come to the show and choose a plant or a flower to plant in their own garden.
The programme will include an international competition of secondary agricultural school students, a florist competition, a snake awareness programme in cooperation with Zagreb Zoo, an exhibition of installations in cooperation with the Academy of Visual Arts, and a music programme. Admission is free.

All the competitions will be held outdoors in accordance with the coronavirus restrictions. Last year’s exhibition was cancelled because of the pandemic.
