56 Istrian olive growers make 2023 Flos Olei guide

ZAGREB, 10 March (Hina) – Istria’s olive growers, who have been added to the latest edition of the “Flos Olei” guide to the world of extra virgin olive oil, were presented with the 14th edition of the guide at a special ceremony in the town of Buje on Thursday.
“Flos Olei” reviews as many as 500 farms of excellence from a total of 56 countries on five continents.
In Croatia, 57 olive farms are included in this latest guide, and as many as 56 of them are in Istria.
Addressing the ceremony, Istria County Prefect Boris Miletić expressed satisfaction with the results of local olive farms, and said that Istrian olive growers accounted for 11% of the top 500 olive farms.
Istria has definitely become an international olive brand, he emphasised.
