5th International Pršut Festival in Drniš this Weekend

More than 70 exhibitors, 30 gastro, cultural and entertainment happenings, and a concert by Goran Karan.
Grad Drniš, the Drniš Tourist Board and the Association of Drniš Prsut Producers invites lovers of food and tradition from the Dalmatian Zagorje to Drniš for the 5th International Pršut Festival which is being held on 18 & 19 August 2018.
This year 75 exhibitors will be at the festival, among them will be more than 30 pršut producers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Along with pršut, producers of cheese, wine, honey, soparnik, local sweets and souvenirs will also exhibit.
There will be over 30 gastro, cultural and entertainment events over the weekend. Croatian singer Goran Karan and his band Vagabundo will perform a concert at 9 pm on Saturday night.
A highlight of the weekend will also be the exhibition of the ‘History of Drniš Pršut’ which is organised by the Drniš Town Museum. There will also be a children’s workshop organised by Krka National Park.
Visitors will also be entertained over the weekend by Klapa Drniš, KUU Miljevci, KUD Sveti Ilija Kljaci, Tambura orchestra ‘Krsto Odak’, Town orchestra Neum and Frane Bilić, Ante Skelin and Drniš Jam.
For the first time, the event will be held at the attractive location of Poljana.
