Croatia drops one place in latest FIFA rankings

ZAGREB, 22 October 2020 – Croatia has dropped one place in the latest FIFA rankings which were released on Thursday.
Croatia has dropped from 8th to 9th place after the October internationals which saw Croatia beat Sweden (2-1) and lose to France (2-1).
Belgium retained the no.1 position from last month, with world champions France in second place. Brazil is third.
Portugal, who Croatia face next in the Nations League on 17 November in Split, is in fifth place, while Sweden dropped one place to no.19.
In October, 120 international matches were places in 2022 World Cup qualifying, Nations League, and EURO 2021 playoffs.
