ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) – For the second year in a row Croatia is among the European countries with the largest number of approved projects under the Erasmus+ Sport programme.
With a total of 21 approved projects out of 65 submitted, Croatia ranks second, the same as last year when 20 of its projects were given the green light.
Italy has continued to hold the top spot with 47 approved projects. Croatia shares second place with Spain, ahead of Bulgaria and France.
“I am extremely happy that this year too Croatian associations and institutions prepared valuable projects which were recognised by the European Commission, and that the number of projects, both submitted and approved, is growing. That shows excellent work and preparedness,” Minister of Tourism and Sport Nikolina Brnjac said on Tuesday.
Total value of 21 projects from Croatia is €2,639,754
This year a total of 310 projects from across Europe were approved for funding under the Erasmus+ Sport programme. The total value of the 21 projects from Croatia is €2,639,754.
