Croatia has got its first vending machine for pets with the placement of one in the capital Zagreb outside the store Dog&Style.
“The vending machine was conceived as a gift to our customers and their four-legged friends who as of now won’t find themselves without basic necessities even when the store is closed. Poop bags, treats, food and toys are now available 24/7,” Dog&Style owner Ženja Moskaljov said.
The vending machine was placed in front of the store in Grada Mainza Street in Zagreb in August.
“But I never dreamed that customers would like it so much. Every month we make a calculation and record about 180 transactions, ie individual purchases. However, of course, most of them are made on weekends, when the store is closed. I am proud that this is the first such machine in Zagreb and Croatia, but also, I am quite sure, in the region,” Moskaljov told daily Vecernji list.
There are plans to place vending machines at two more locations by the end of the year.
