Zagreb company’s medical app wins the German Innovation Award 2020

ZAGREB, Dec 1 (Hina) – The “medi vision” medical app which the IT company Q from Zagreb designed for the German company medi has won the prestigious German Innovation Award 2020, Q said on Tuesday.
“Medi vision” is a digital tool that enables swift and precise measurements with the help of 3D models, facilitating the choice of medical aids, the company said in a press release.
The app will be available in 90 countries where medi is present. It is already in use in pharmacies and specialised shops across Germany and will soon be available elsewhere in Europe, as well as in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, China, Russia and Australia.
Q said the app would help numerous patients around the world to recover more swiftly.
The medi company from Bayreuth is one of the leading world manufacturers of medical aids, employing more than 2,700 people. It is a trusted partner to Q in the development of highly innovative medical-technological solutions.
Q said the cooperation on “medi vision” involved planning, strategy and design development as well as app maintenance.
