ZAGREB, 23 December 2020 – LOT Polish Airlines will temporarily suspend its Warsaw – Zagreb – Warsaw service next month, Croatian Aviation reported on Wednesday.
LOT, who are based in Warsaw and are one of the world’s oldest airlines, will temporarily suspend its Warsaw – Zagreb – Warsaw service from January 13th.
The airline launched its regular route between Warsaw and Zagreb in the summer of 2020.
Reasons for the suspension, which will last a month and a half, are the epidemiological situation, reduced demand and the introduction of further restrictive measures which have been put in place.
“From January 13th to March 1st, 2021, the airline will not operate on this route and in that period there will be no direct flights between the two mentioned cities,” Croatian Aviation writes.
On 8 return flights in January, LOT will operate with E170 aircraft with a capacity of 70 passengers.
From March 1st, 2021, LOT plans to resume traffic on the route to Zagreb with four flights a week, realisation of planned schedule in March will depend on epidemiological situation which directly affects passenger demand.
