There is another surprise in store for Croats when they hit the supermarkets next week. From Monday milk will cost between 10 and 15% more, and yoghurts up to 25% more after the nations leading dairy companies announced that the price of dairy products will rise.
“Dukat, unfortunately have been forced to perform price correction in their range as a result of rapidly rising input costs, especially energy prices. For example, the cost of steam in 2013 has ncreased by 120% on 2012, which represents a very heavy burden”, said the statement.
Other leading dairy companies in Croatia, including Vindija, will follow suit also with ‘price corrections’ from Monday.
