The records just keep falling for Croatia striker Andrej Kramarić in the Bundesliga.
Kramarić has just overtaken Ivica Olic as the top Croatian goalscorer of all-time in the German Bundesliga. Kramarić scored twice from the penalty spot in Hoffenheim’s 3-0 win over Cologne to overtake Olić.
The 29-year-old former Dinamo Zagreb striker has scored 74 goals now in the league.
Former Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg and Hamburg striker Olić has to settle now for second place with 72 goals. The third highest scoring Croatian is Mandžukić who scored 53 goals during his spells at Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg.
Mladen Petric (Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg) is next on 51 and Ivan Klasnic (Werder) is fifth with 50 goals.
“I am really happy and proud of myself and of course my teammates and club which gave me the opportunity to achieve this to be in front of one Mandžukić and one Olić and we know which clubs and careers they had. To score more than them is something amazing, make I will understand more after my career. I want to keep scoring more,” Kramarić said after passing Olić.
