ZAGREB, 5 March 2021 – Germany’s Robert Koch Institute of Health has removed four Croatian counties from the list of risk areas and deemed them safe for travelling to.
The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) said on Friday that the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs had removed the negative warning against travelling to four counties in Croatia.
Those counties are Istria, Krapina-Zagorje, Pozega-Slavonia and Bjelovar-Bilogora.
“The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs lifted the negative warning for travel to these counties, which means that when returning to Germany from these counties, a negative PCR test does not have to be presented and no quarantine is required,” the HTZ statement said.
The decision enters into force on 7 March 2021.
Croatia recorded 590 new coronavirus cases on Friday and six related deaths.
