New heritage hotel Armerun to open in heart of Šibenik

A new heritage hotel is opening it doors soon in the heart of Šibenik on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.
Heritage Hotel Armerun is located just 50 metres from the famous Cathedral of St. James in the centre of the city.
The hotel is categorised as a heritage 4* and will have 17 rooms, include standard, superior and deluxe quality.
Within the hotel there is a restaurant, Buta, which will be based on Mediterranean cuisine.
All renovations to the location were done in agreement with conservators and during works a number artefacts were found.
Everything was handed over to the Museum of the City of Šibenik and are now owned by the museum. The hotel has agreed to exhibit them at the hotel so that guests can have a chance to see them.
The hotel, which is named “Armerun”, after the word meaning closet, is set to open its doors in May.
