RIJEKA, 12 May 2021 – Rijeka-based studio Zambelli Brand Design has won world-renowned A’Design awards for product and visual design for the visual identity of two Croatian brands – QUIX and Benin.
Anja Zambelli won one of the world’s most prestigious and influential design accolades for her ‘example of perfection in visual identity’, which a rare number of designers worldwide can boast.
The silver award was received for the project for vending machine chain “QUIX” , and the “Iron” award for the visual identity for coffee brand “Benin”.
Thousands of works from all over the world were in this year’s competition, so the awards are a big deal for the Croatian design scene as it shows how world-renowned quality can be achieved.
The award-winning works will also be exhibited at the Museum of Design in Italy, where other works by companies such as Pepsi, Disney, Samsung, Nestle and many others are on display.
Winner Anja Zambelli comments that design can be an opportunity for many domestic brands to enter foreign markets, and as the winners of the A’Design award, they gain additional credibility on the world stage. “Recognition like the A’Design Award opens many doors to clients in Europe and beyond. All of this is an added value of investing in the design of the company’s visual identity or product design,” concludes Zambelli.
A ‘Design Award & Competition is the first organisation in the world created to create value for designers, artists and architects. Due to A’Design’s organisation and methodology of independent judges, the award is considered a trophy of prestige in the creative world. Also, the judges are composed of academics, representatives of specialised media and experts who are proven in the industry. The award is given once a year with the aim of promoting excellence in design.
