In-form Croatian striker Andrej Kramarić set a new record for his Bundesliga club Hoffenheim on Saturday.
In the 33rd round of the Bundesliga today, Kramarić needed just five minutes to open the scoring for Hoffenheim in their 1-1 draw away to Arminia.
The goal was Kramarić’s 19th this season, which is the most ever scored by a player in the club’s history in a season.
The goal today continues Kramarić’s rich vein of form as it was his fourth goal in consecutive rounds.

It has been a season to remember for the 29-year-old, who got married last month in Zagreb. Kramarić overtook Ivica Olic as the top Croatian goalscorer of all-time in the German Bundesliga earlier this year when he scored twice from the penalty spot in Hoffenheim’s 3-0 win over Cologne. He has scored 80 goals in the league.
“I am really happy and proud of myself and of course my teammates and club which gave me the opportunity to achieve this to be in front of one Mandžukić and one Olić and we know which clubs and careers they had. To score more than them is something amazing, make I will understand more after my career. I want to keep scoring more,” Kramarić said after passing Olić.
He also broke the record this season for the most consecutive goals in a row in the Bundesliga first and second division when he scored 10 goals in four consecutive matches. The record was held previously by Mario Gomez who scored seven goals in a row for Wolfsburg.
