Croatian IT company IN2 have won a global Microsoft Partner of the Year Award. IN2 were awarded from more than 3000 applicants from 106 countries. It is the first time a Croatian company has wotn the Microsoft award.
IN2 won the award in the category: Public Sector – Health solutions for their e-ordering and e-waiting list solution, which also came in for special mention from Microsoft vice-president Jon Roskill, who whilst presenting the award emphasized the value of technology to modernize the health system and the change in the delivery of health services.
E-Waiting list and e-ordering were late last year linked in real-time to public hospitals and clinics in Croatia, meaning citizens no longer need to come to the hospital to make an appointment for a particular procedure. E-ordering is currently available for 270 medical procedures in Croatia and is constantly growing.
“We are very proud of this solution, and the award confirms that we have done a good job. In a few days we expect to sign a contract to deliver a similar system in Slovenia and hope to get similar projects in other markets,” said IN2 CEO Ante Mandic.
