ZAGREB, 27 May 2021 – Croatia Airlines has returned its service connecting the Croatian and Irish capitals.
The first flight from Dublin landed in Zagreb on Thursday afternoon and was greeted with a water salute at Zagreb’s Franjo Tuđman airport.
Flights will be operate between Dublin and Zagreb every Thursday and Sunday.
“In order to celebrate this occasion, we welcomed our passengers at Zagreb airport and awarded them with vouchers,” Croatian Airlines said.
Croatia Airlines suspended the service back in October 2020 after low demand caused by the pandemic after its return.
“As of today, Zagreb is again connected to Dublin by direct Croatia Airlines’ flights. We are happy that Croatia Airlines, by re-launching this line, has expanded its network of destinations and potential passengers, which will certainly strengthen its market position and contribute to increasing the number of passengers at Franjo Tuđman Airport as well,” Zagreb Airport said.
Croatia Airlines first introduced the direct service between Dublin and Zagreb back in 2018.
