PHOTOS: Croatian humanitarian fest in New York

Under the auspices of the Croatian World Congress USA in New York, the Croatian restaurant Dubrovnik, winner of the Michelin Bib Award 2021, owned by Zeljka Tomic, hosted a Croatian Humanitarian Fest, from which all funds raised will be donated to the Dubrovnik organisation Tata je Tata, an association of humanitarian fathers in Dubrovnik.
The Croatian fest was opened by a member of the executive committee of the Croatian World Congress USA, Ana Strazicic Rodriguez with Gundulic’s Anthem of Freedom.
Folklore duo Katarina and Petar Crnogorac danced Linđo and Istarski balun. Klapa Astorija with klapa songs, Eleonora and Marko and Damir Radov with Dalmatian songs delighted the many guests with their performances.
The Croatian World Congress of the USA also presented awards at the fest with Ana Strazicic Rodriguez presenting Zeljka Tomic an award for promoting Croatian cuisine and humanitarian actions in the USA, Klapa Astorija for promoting Croatian cultural heritage and Croatian klapa songs, Damir Radov for promoting Croatian cultural heritage and humanitarian action, Katarina and Petar Crnogorac for promoting Croatian cultural heritage and Croatian folklore, Samira Ramic and Mirena Bagur for promoting Croatian wines and humanitarian actions in the USA.
Due to its humanitarian character, the Croatian Fest was supported by many donors and sponsors from America and Croatia, including Restaurant Dubrovnik, Ramic Family Selection, Croatian Premium Wine Imports, Mac International, Pan Adriatic Corporation, Adriatic travel, Libertas Foundation, Marina Travel, Histrian Associations for women, Bistre Family, Damir Radov, National Park Mljet, MC restaurant & bar Saplunara Mljet, and Mrgudic winery.
The organizers of the Croatian Fest, Ana, Zelko, Tatjana – also the editor of the bulletins and posters for the fest, Eleonora and Suzan, thanked everyone who supported this praiseworthy humanitarian action with their participation.
