Croatia’s Greyp launches high-tech 100 km electric trekking bike

Greyp Bikes, which is the sister company of Rimac Automobili, has just released a new, high-tech, 100 km electric trekking bike.
Over the last 3 years, Greyp has broken into the electric bike market, and now it’s has expand its fleet and enter the e-trekking bike segment.
Whether it’s a daily commute to work, a long drive on country roads or a longer trip in nature, the new Greyp e-SUV T5 offers top performance combined with maximum comfort.
The new electric bike shares many successful features with its “mountain” version cousin, the Greyp G6.
The new e-SUV combines all of Greyp’s technology with the riding characteristics of a trekking bike. With its aluminium frame, powerful 700 Wh battery, 100mm stroke and Schwalbe G-One Allround 29 “tires, the Greyp T5 is a powerful e-SUV that, they say, guarantees a unique driving experience whether it’s day trips to work or longer trips.

One of the important characteristics of the bike is the powerful battery with a capacity of 700Wh, which provides a range of up to 100 km, designed and manufactured in collaboration with Rimac Automobili. The battery is integrated in the lower tube and is located exactly in the centre of gravity of the bike.
Greyp also includes an integrated eSIM that provides the user with a constant connection to the Internet that opens up new possibilities for using the bike, and allows owners to remotely control certain functions and protect against theft.

Gray’s app can be used in two ways: Dashboard and Remote. Dashboard mode turns a smartphone into an extended control panel and gives access to various functions such as navigation, terrain-based range and cameras, while Remote mode can be used as a bicycle remote control, so users can send text messages, take photos, lock the bike on remote or activate the kill switch to turn it off completely.

The Greyp T5 comes with a 250 W MPF 6.0c motor and 90 Nm of torque, which will come in handy for everyone on big climbs. The engine also has custom firmware, while the engine assistance level is easily adjusted via controls on the steering wheel.
The T5.2 (M, L and XL) models will be available on the web and in select bike shops across Europe.
