Famous Croatian duo 2CELLOS have unveiled their new single and video on Friday, a cover of Cryin’ by Aerosmith.
Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser reunited after a break earlier this year on the 10th anniversary since the formation of 2CELLOS.
After releasing covers of “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi and Imagine’s “Demons”, the pair are back again, dropping their latest music video “Cryin’”.
New album and tour
2CELLOS’ sixth full-length album Dedicated comes out Friday, September 17 via Sony Masterworks.
“We always planned to come back, and we came into Dedicated with a fresh approach and energy. We haven’t been on stage for two years now, so we can’t wait to get back out,” the duo said.
Dedicated finds 2CELLOS exploring a diverse catalog with their signature boundary-breaking playing style. The collection includes their take on everything from classic pop hits (“bad guy” by Billie Eilish, “Shallow” by Lady Gaga, “Halo” by Beyonce) to hard-hitting rock songs (“Cryin'” by Aerosmith, “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses, “Wherever I Go” by OneRepublic) to celebrated classics (“Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel).
The group will also make their long-awaited return to the stage in support of the new album, kicking off their 2022 U.S. Dedicated Tour on March 26 at Rosemont’s Allstate Arena before stopping at iconic venues including New York’s Barclays Center (April 3) and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl (April 15).
