Carling Pub Brings Touch Of Britain To Zagreb

British icons David and Victoria Beckham and Queen Elizabeth II were in the Croatian capital last night, well their official lookalikes from London were at least, to celebrate the opening of the first Carling Pub on Zagreb’s Cvjetni square.
Guests had the opportunity to take photos with the ‘stars’, enjoy in some British cuisine and try one of Britain’s oldest and best-selling lagers in a ‘London-esque’ atmosphere in downtown Zagreb. Carling beer’s origins began back in 1818 when Thomas Carling first began production.
The extremely easy to drink Carling beer, with 4 percent alcohol, is launched in a new bottle. The new bottle design is currently only present on the Croatian market. China will be the next nation after Croatia where the new bottle is launched.
