The cheeses were exhibited at the World Cheese Awards on 88 tables divided into categories, each table judged by three judges who rate about 45 cheeses.
The winners are decided by a special panel of 16 judges, who must not have any business or private connections with the cheesemakers whose cheeses are being judged.
