Hajduk juniors beat Minsk to reach UEFA Youth League knockout phase

Hajduk U-19 team has beaten F.C. Minsk to advance through to the knockout phase of the UEFA Youth League.
After winning 3:0 in the first leg in Split, the Hajduk juniors drew 1:1 in the return leg today to advance 4:1 on aggregate.
The home side took the lead on the stroke of halftime, before Mario Čuić equalised in the 72nd minute.
Hajduk will learn their opponents for the first knockout match on 14 December when the draw is made in Nyon. The round of 16 and quarterfinals will be played in March, with the semifinals and final to be played in Nyon in April.

The UEFA Youth League domestic champions path draw has set two rounds of knockout competition for 32 of the 64 contenders.
The UEFA Youth League is an annual club football competition contested by the youth teams of the clubs competing in the UEFA Champions League group stage, plus the domestic youth champions of the best-ranked national associations.
The current champions are Spanish side Real Madrid, who beat Benfica 3–2 in the 2020 final.
