Handball EURO: Croatia advance to Main Round and learn opponents

Wins over Serbia and Ukraine in the group stages assured Croatia a place in the Main Round of the 2022 EHF European Men’s Handball Championship.
Croatia’s schedule in the Main Round is now known, with Hrvoje Horvat’s team to face Montenegro, Denmark, Iceland and the Netherlands in Group I of the Main Round.
All of Croatia’s matches will be played in Budapest.

3:30 pm – Croatia v Montenegro
Saturday, 22 January 2022
8:30 pm – Denmark v Croatia
Monday, 24 January 2022
3:30 pm – Croatia v Iceand
Wednesday, 26 January 2022
6 pm – Croatia v Netherlands
Points and goals gained in the preliminary group against teams that advance will be transferred to the main round.
Two teams will qualify from the group for the semi-finals, whilst the third-placed team will go into the 5th-6th playoff.
