Punta Skala, April 11, 2022 – Family Hotel Diadora at Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala has received a fifth star and now offers guests the highest quality service and premium content.
This summer, the first guests will find more than 1250 m2 of children’s entertainment space, new children’s playrooms, dormitories for the youngest, a multimedia and cinema hall, renovated rooms and spacious suites from 43 m2 to 56 m2, a new Acquapura SPA wellness world, numerous sports fields and a pool with slides.

After a comprehensive makeover, Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora says it has created one of the most fun places to stay on the Adriatic in 2022.
“The reconstruction project of the existing four-star hotel required a specific approach, with an emphasis on child-friendly design and content. All 230 rooms and suites, as well as all the surrounding space and playrooms, are specially adapted for families, from sizes to decorations. Playrooms, rooms and other spaces are filled with interactive entertainment for children, and the goal was to create the most fun family place on the Adriatic,” says Otmar Michaeler, CEO of Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group.

From relaxation and entertainment rooms to fine Falkensteiner cuisine
At the Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora, everything is family-friendly. Each of the 230 newly renovated rooms also has a separate children’s room and a play area. There are also interactive entertainment facilities such as a climbing wall and hammocks, which makes the room no longer just a place to relax. Guests can also enjoy culinary delicacies with a buffet concept, but also delicious and healthy snacks and a menu created for young guests.
The new restaurant terrace with pergola allows guests to enjoy good food outdoors even during the hottest days.

The new children’s playroom is a key place for children of all ages, inspired by the marine world that surrounds them and invites them to explore and play.
From Soft-play space for the youngest (0-3) with didactic toys, exciting climbing and jumping zones, attractive slides to various fun and interactive digital games.
There is also a new multimedia educational and entertainment room and cinema hall and a zone of creative workshops. Educated staff is at the service of guests for the complete care of children and their animation, with structured programs with creative and educational elements, from sports activities to cooking.
“The main theme of the renovated Hotel Diadora is the enchanting underwater world. Our concept of marine biology will allow children to explore the underwater world with our Falky, through games and entertainment, but at the same time will educate children and adults about the importance of preserving the underwater environment and keeping our oceans and seas clean and balanced,” Michaeler explains the philosophy of the ‘edutainment’ concept. In 2023, a large Aquapark will be built within the resort, which will bring so many unforgettable memories to young guests, he adds.

Babies come first
In addition to the many services that form the basis for a comfortable stay for the whole family, such as a sleeping area and an outdoor playground, special attention is paid to cribs that have space for changing diapers and breastfeeding. Guests can safely feed their baby in the Biberonia kitchen, where fresh food can be found 24 hours a day.

Active and safe vacation for the whole family
In addition to entertaining hotel facilities, there is also an outdoor sports centre with numerous sports fields and Fortis Club with Fitness Centre spanning 800 m2 and Strike bar & Bowling zone, where all lovers of bowling, billiards and darts will find entertainment.
For gamers there is the new gaming and PlayStation 5 zones. For those looking for sea adventures in the resort there is a Water-sport centre where guests can rent kayaks, SUPs, and Surf-steppers.
Numerous sports camps have also been organised, such as football, tennis, cheerleading, horseback riding, sailing or gaming, as well as workshops with famous athletes.
The fact that Punta Skala is a green resort and car free zone, families are given an extra sense of security and carefreeness when walking or cycling.
