Croatia Airlines starts year-round Munich – Osijek service

OSIJEK, 2 May 2022 – Today’s Croatia Airlines flight on the international route OU4431 Munich – Osijek marked the start of the year-round air connection between eastern Croatia and the world.

As of today, Croatia Airlines’ Munich – Osijek service is available to passengers throughout the year, twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays. The Dash 8-Q400 aircraft with a capacity of 76 seats will operate on the route.

Croatia Airlines established this route in the winter of 2021, for the first time in the company’s history, at the initiative of Osijek-Baranja County, the City of Osijek, Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board, Osijek Tourist Board and Osijek Airport.

The flights operated from November 15, 2021 to January 14 this year, and thanks to the excellent cooperation of all participants in this project, the results achieved and quality market demand for flights, space was opened to improve the route and it was agreed to become year-round, Croatia Airlines said in a statement. 

This joint project has created a new and quality service, which provides direct air connections between eastern Croatia and abroad, and passengers on this route are provided with the possibility of connecting flights from Munich to destinations around the world.

The introduction of the year-round Osijek-Munich route is an integral part of this year’s Croatia Airlines flight schedule, in which the company plans to directly connect Croatia and 21 international destinations, with a total of 41 international flights.
