Former Croatian Youth International Alen Pamic (23) Tragically Dies

Croatian football has been rocked with the news that former Croatian youth international Alen Pamic has tragically died aged just 23 whilst playing futsal with friends on Friday night in Croatia.
Pamic, who was the son of former Croatian international Igor Pamic, last played for Istra 1961 in the Croatian first division before heart problems forced him out of professional football. Pamic first collapsed on the football field whilst playing for Standard Liege in Belgium in 2010 but doctors, and in February this year he also collapsed whilst playing in the Croatian first division.
Pamic’s brother Zvonko plays for Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb.
