A green festival dedicated to the most popular food in the world
After Fuliranje and Zagreb Burger Festival, events organized by Kokoš & jaje creative agency that have successfully marked recent years, Zagreb is welcoming another gastro delight in Zagreb’s Trg Franjo Tuđman.
The Pizza Festival is going to be the first completely digitalized festival using digital customer ordering and payment platform (skip the line). It will open its green doors for all pizza lovers on June 23 and will be there until July 3, offering about fifteen irresistible flavours.
Pizza enthusiasts will be preparing the classics like Napoletana and Romana, but also unusual combinations: international, domestic, marine, and those with an unexpected twist.
Also, Dalmatian variations of pizza – Soparnik (Dalmatian chard filled pie) and Komiška pogača (a type of pizza/pie from Komiža, the island of Vis) are coming to the festival.
The Pizza Institute, ResTač, Picnic, and Beg’s will be representing the colours and flavours of this super popular dish. Robert Hromalić will be in charge of summer desserts, with toasted ice cream and Crepes Suzette as some of the delicious curiosities.
And we should not forget the music, a third essential ingredient of the event played by reputable DJs to suit your mood with Robert Mareković opening this 11-day long marathon. Of course, chilled beer and summer cocktails will make the whole experience even sweeter.
So come by, with your kids or with your gang, and have a taste of pizza flavours you have not tried but that will enchant your palates. The Festival will be open from noon to 02 am. Entrance is free.
