Venus Williams training in Croatia

Venus Williams, who has not played competitively for almost a year, partnered up with Jamie Murray in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon but exited in the second round.
After he unexpected return she is now training in Croatia. As daily 24sata reported, the 42-year-old arrived in Zadar by private jet on Wednesday afternoon and was training today at the Falkensteiner resort.
“She has arrived in Zadar on vacation, but is spending her free time training. She chose Falkensteiner’s elite resort in Petrčane as her temporary residence, and for now it is not known how long she will stay in Croatia,” 24sata said.
A few years ago sister Serena spent time also training in Croatia. In 2014 she spent time in Novigrad in Istria training.
Venus is a former world No. 1 in both singles and doubles. She won seven Grand Slam singles titles, five at Wimbledon and two at the US Open.
She also won 14 Grand Slam titles in women’s doubles, all with her sister Serena, including six at the All England Club.
