Since she was young, Consuelo searched to live her life to the fullest and with the power of intuition redirected it to explore not only different paths in art but also by exploring different cultures, places, colors, and sensations.
That’s why she has been the director of her life traveling inside her native land of Chile but also living in the USA and currently in Croatia.
“We came to Croatia from Chile because of my husband’s work. First we lived in Dubrovnik and then in Zagreb, where we have settled. Our children are growing up and taking root here and it has become our home,” Consuelo tells us.
Her deep emotions and learning sensory process started from young with painting but evolved as well into jewelry crafting, ceramic sculpture and digital art through her education in graphic design.
In all this endeavour, her mark now is Croatia, with an ever-present harmony that seeks deep connections between her roots and this land, that she also calls home, full of hard rocks where olive trees and vineyards grow strong in their struggle to survive surrounded by the subtle flow of its warm seas that nurture Consuelo’s art senses.
As Consuelo always said, these words are just a tangential introduction into her world but would like to give the main course by your direct appreciation of her art.
