FIFA’s streaming platform FIFA+ platform has just released the eight-part documentary series “Captains – The Chosen Few” which features Croatia’s Luka Modrić.
The series, which is also made for Netflix, follows captains from Brazil, Croatia, Gabon, Vanuatu, Jamaica and Lebanon as they lead their squads through the qualifying rounds for this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
In the first episode, the documentary heads to the village of Modrići in Croatia where Luka looks back on his childhood, with an emphasis on his grandparents and the influence they had on him.
