If Croatia manages to win the World Cup they will earn 40 million euros, three more million euros than France won in 2018.
Compared to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, FIFA has increased the prize fund by approximately 40 million euros, with more than 425 million euros at stake in Qatar.
In Russia four years ago Croatia pocketed 28 million dollars for finishing runners-up, which at the time amounted to slightly more than 24 million euros, considering that the dollar was much weaker compared to today, 24sata writes.

Croatia takes on Argentina on Tuesday for a place in their second consecutive final. For winning the title they would earn a total of 40 million euros, while for second place they would receive 30 million euros.
