Discover the most stellar Advent story in Zagreb’s Park Grič
Zagreb, 20 December 2022 – With the glow of starlights and the sound of Chopin’s nocturnes, Zagreb’s upper town Park Grič has turned into the most romantic hidden corner in the city, inspired by the night and the stars. If you are not overly in the mood for crowds and are a lover of beauty and classics, you will find your new favourite place this Advent at the Winter Nocturne.
In this winter romantic story, you can take a walk under the stars, share a bench for two or open a fine sparkling wine, and that memorable moment will also have its own soundtrack – Frédéric Chopin’s nocturne performed by Jan Lisiecki.
Therefore, if you find yourself in Park Grič, do not miss experiencing the true romance of the Winter Nocturne, gaze into a special luminous forest and surround yourself with shooting stars that bring good luck, pass under the starry sky and listen to the sounds of the most beautiful winter night.
With all that, don’t forget to share those special moments. Follow @zimski_nokturno on Instagram and share your stellar experience with the hashtags #ZimskiNokturno and #AdventZagreb. You can enjoy the dreamy atmosphere of the Winter Nocturne until January 7, 2023.
The Winter Nocturne is launched and realised in cooperation with the Zagreb Tourist Board, and is signed by the association Art for the City and the creative team consisting of Ana Mikin and Jelena Malenica.
At the initiative of the Zagreb Tourist Board, this year Art for the City is behind the decoration of two more Advent locations – the Grič Tunnel (Polar Dream) and the Bela IV Park (Moon Garden).
The Winter Nocturne is part of the Advent Zagreb program organised by the City of Zagreb, Ju Maksimir and the Zagreb Tourist Board. More information is available on the website adventzagreb.hr.
