1 Million Set To See Croatian 50’s Photo Exhibition

For the fourth consecutive year the attractive exhibition “Friends of the Sea” will tour waterfronts and squares in cities across Croatia.

On Friday the travelling exhibition, which includes 64 photographs in large format from the 1950’s, arrived in the coastal city of Zadar.
The exhibition of Croatia’s best photographs from the 1950’s will take place in 14 Croatian towns over three months during the busy summer season, with over 1 million people expected to see the exhibition.
“If you had an exhibition in the centre of Paris for 3 months you would probably not get one million people to visit,” said one of the exhibition’s organisers Denis Redic. Zadar is the 7th town to host the exhibition so far. Friends of the Sea closes on 1 September.
